the big clean!
Today I was at the Barghouse in South Bank for the preparations for the AACDD exhibition taking place next week (yeah!).
Myself and other designers showcasing their work all took part in a big clean but in the long run it was worth it!
The space is beautiful and I can not wait for all the work to go in. A big thank you to Karin Beate Phillips and Emamoke Ukeleghe and the whole team at the British European Design Group for this great event.

YSL 2011
One of my favourite dresses has to be Yves Saint Laurent take on the artist Piet Mondrian inspired grid dress. Created in 1965, this iconic dress took the fashion world by storm by endless reproductions and apperances on front covers of fashion magazines such as Vouge. It's use of simple colours and shiloete is what attracts me to this dress which can still be worn today. I always wondered what kind of alterrations would take place if back on the runway, would the dress be more fitted, sleeves added, dress would be shorter, who knows. For now, I can show you sweetdesignstudio's take on it, enjoy!!
